Worked on a device that will be deployed in the soil to constantly monitor the movement of bacteria, archaea, fungi and protozoa distribution. This way we can study their spatial patterns and interactions within the microbiome at a micrometer scale.

Designed and built the housing for the device in order to keep the electronics organized and safe from water damage while deployed in the soil. Worked on the optical fluidics system that allows water in and out through specifically engineered channels for optimal flow.
